Embrace Macro Photography Workshop

This half day course will look specifically at macro (close-up) digital photography techniques.

The workshop will look at macro nature photography and other subjects.

Participants will have be take part in practical photography using their own cameras to take photos under the instruction of our professional photography tutors.

The course will be run in the setting of Embrace Social Enterprises Ltd office in Brixton, Lambeth, London.

Participants on these workshops will also be given a simple guide to macro photography created by our photography tutors.

The main areas covered will be Composition, Controlling depth of field, Colour and Looking at abstracts.

The workshop is limited to 8 participants maximum.

Ian James: initially studied Biology at the University of Nottingham before going on to a Masters in Biological Photography and Imaging, graduating with a distinction. This degree covered wildlife and landscape photography, as well as videography. One of Ian's favorite types of photography is low-light photography and he hopes to convince you that you don't need heaps of light to capture great images!
